Adventures in Japanese 1: Textbook ReviewAs a new Japanese student, I found this book to be extremely helpful. Not only are the hiragana and katakana alphabets included and explained, but there is also a lot of cultural information that I found very interesting. This book is very easy to understand and is even good for some basic teach-yourself Japanese, which is what I'm doing. In the first half of the book, all the words are spelled out in Romanji, so it makes it so much easier for beginners to learn how to read and pronounce Japanese words.
