It is about half that size. It is identical to the DK Five language English, German, French, Spanish & Italian visual dictionary except the Spanish and Italian is replaced by Japanese and Chinese. The big disappointment is that there is no kanji (for the Japanese)nor pinyin (for the Chinese)pronunciations for the characters. DK's new bi-lingual English & Chinese visual dictionary does have pinyin pronunciations. I assume they will be soon publishing a bi-lingual English & Japanese visual dictionary with kanji. However, is interesting to be able to compare the Japanese and Chinese characters in one format. One other negative is the Japanese and Chinese characters are in extremely small print.
